Founder

Joshua is the founder of the Record Initiative, a project born out of his experience coaching at an summer fencing program in the Bronx. While there, noticed a significant lack of resources needed for electrified fencing. This realization led him to establish the ReCord Initiative, which provides free body cord repair services. By so, he aims to strengthen community ties and promote sustainability within the sport.

At ReCord, our vision is to unite the fencing community and enhance accessibility for all. We are committed to achieving our goal of repairing 500 body cords by the end 2026, ensuring that all fencers can participate and enjoy the sport.
